I want to install few softwares in ubuntu 9.04. I am unable to do so as every time I go to install softwares I get funny errors and no software gets install.

I want to make a e-book for people to download free from my website. How do I make it? Do I use programs like Microsoft Office Word and change it to a PDF file? How do I do this? How do I get the file to show on something like Adobe reader so no one can edit it? Please help.

I am thinking about buying one, but i am thinking. Does it come in like an email that contains it? since im using a public computer, i dont want everybody to have access to it. when it downloads, where is the file being sent? and can i save it on a USB drive so i can have better access to it?

Do you know of any that are not trail versions? Thank you!

What program is best to make those virtual ebook covers, software boxshots, book covers, etc. Please don’t mention Photoshop, because I’m sure there are programs dedicated to making these images. They make the text on the spind of the box, the drop shadow, and look pretty good.

It says it is still shipping but it is an ebook so how can it ship? Also, it says that an email will be sent immediately but I bought it like 4 hours ago. Also, when I go into the shop on my nook it says that the book is purchased yet I can’t find it in my library. Help?!
